It took me 12 years to persuade Landscape Master Shum Wan Fung to accept me as his disciple. When I met Master Shum, I was completely taken by his masterful landscapes. He did not teach then because of his professional engagement, leaving him very little time to pursue painting, left alone teaching students. It was only until 12 years later when Master Shum retired could I convince him to provide private lessons to me at his studio. I am indebted to Master Shum for giving me a solid foundation, especially in rendering clouds and waterfalls. Join me and enter the magical world of sumi-e landscape.
